I came across this site today as I looked at small business trending topics and found there was a B2B conference devoted to the subject of ‘Twarketing’ – how to conduct successful Twitter marketing campaigns. It features a Twitter feed from yesterday’s live B2B social media conference - #liftsummit.
We seem to constantly come back to the idea of social media as the new enabler of word-of-mouth advertising, customer service and, of course, sales. The real question is, can you make money from your social media space? Well, depending on the type of business you have, you might be, but you won’t know unless you give it a try.
While it may not make sense for a dental office to Tweet its current ‘free teeth whitening’ or ‘complimentary X-Rays’ for new patients, it could. Social media is an opportunity for customers to share their experience with others and, potentially, bring you more business. You shouldn’t assume that your business won’t benefit from this.

They have helped a few businesses grow like gangbusters – sometimes there are glitches with exponential growth, but think how many people would like to be in your shoes when that happens!
