by on ‎10-05-2010 11:56 AM

Fiber optics.jpgDoes fiber-optic technology really matter to consumers? Verizon’s Link Hoewing asks this question in a new post at the Verizon PolicyBlog.  For a long time, Link says, he’s believed that consumers understand that fiber makes a big difference in terms of quality, reliability, capability and performance.  Now, there’s research from the Fiber to the Home Council to support his theory.

Link describes the research and explains why consumers believe fiber is a better technology.  Read the rest of Link's post to see why.
