What’s Hot?

by ‎03-23-2011 02:15 PM - edited ‎03-23-2011 02:16 PM

Top Cities. Best Restaurants. Best Sellers. The dreaded shopping list. Who doesn’t love a good list?

And for your viewing convenience, we’ve pulled together a few lists to help you find what’s hot on FiOS TV.

Whether you’re curious about what others or watching or you just want to get the buzz around the virtual TV water cooler, you can get regular updates of Hot On TV, Hot On Demand, Top Recordings and Top Searches (on FiOS). They’re all found online at FiOS TV Central or in the FiOS TV menu by clicking Search and then What’s Hot on FiOS.

Care to guess what was the top movie on FiOS TV Video on Demand while this blog was being written? It was “The Next Three Days.”

One recent afternoon, “Your World with Neil Cavuto” and “iCarly” held the number one and two spots on the Hot on TV list . “Dancing with the Stars,” Free Movies,” and “Marcel’s Quantum Kitchen” were the top searches. But I digress.

FiOS TV Central could help in planning movie night, or help you get an idea of what to watch . So the next time you’re wondering what’s hot, visit FiOS Central. The landing page is available at

Heather (or to whom it may concern):

There is now less than a week until the first Orioles game on MASN2 (Sunday).  There is a thread on this site more than a year old with Verizon customers in the Baltimore area asking for MASN2-HD.  Verizon responded by giving the D.C. market MASN2-HD, which makes no sense because any time there is a conflict between the Orioles and Nationals (like this coming Sunday) the Nationals are on MASN and the Orioles are on MASN2.  What good is FiOS technology if it lacks the capability to deliver a channel that satellite and even CABLE have no difficulty delivering?

If Verizon has any respect for its customers in this market they will remedy this situation before Sunday or, failing that, provide a date DURING THIS SEASON when Verizon expects to deliver the channel.  Otherwise, I expect to go back to DirecTV on Monday.
