Ignore this thread.  It has nothing to do with any problem you are having.  the problem it discussed was resolved several years ago.

 

Are you trying to recover MAIL???  Typically not much mail is left on the verizon servers when using outlook express, you would need to look at migration procedrues from outlook express to something like Microsoft Live MAIL (the successor to outlook express).

 

If you cannot get your mail clien to work review your settings against http://www.veizon.com/emailsettings .  If you want us peers to help with correcting your settings we would need to now most of your settings, just leaving at confidential stuff like actual userid and password.
