Before today, I could send/receive emails on my verizon account on my Ipad with no problem. However, today, when trying to send an email I get "Cannot Send Mail. The user name or password for "SMTP....... is incorrect" .
I recently changed my verizon password, but since had received/sent emails, so I know the user name and password is correct. I deleted the account and re-added it, but still get the same message. I receive emails with no problems, I just cannot send them. Any help is appreciated.
I have had the same problem with my iPhone and iPad since a couple of days ago - have no problems sending email from the verizon website but do from mobile devices - has something in the account set up changed?
These settings and procedures have worked for me.
