Can anyone tell me why some of the names in my E mail contact list are starred in the new version of E mail?

If you update your email contact it will be starred. You can check this by going to a contact, hit EDIT even if you don't make any changes, click on SAVE. Then go to the Recently Changed List under CONTACTS and click on this and you will see the newly changed (edited) contact listed there even if you didn't make any c hanges.
