Two days, trying to login - receive message that my user name is not available. Frustrated!

I don't know whether this will help at all, but this is the URL I use to get to webmail:

http://webmail.verizon.net/signin/

It has been and continues to work flawlessly for me, I just checked a minute or two ago.

For the last hour or so I have tried getting into email and it is fast again. I hope it lasts. I did send in a comment to Feedback on the email page about the problem here in Baltimore County Maryland. I hope that helped and the fast speed continues. By the way the slowness had been on the Verizon webmail site you referred to also. So maybe it depended on where you live. I also had responded to the Slowness of Email Servers Messages on this forum and many people were having the problem. I will try again this evening to see if the email is still coming up quickly.
