If you log on to the verizon email website, it will tell you if you are ready to migrate.

We also did not receive the email migration communication last April for one of the family's email accounts.  (I assume timing was driven by Verizon selling FIOS in our area (Texas) to Frontier.)  We did on the other two and migrated them successfully.  We just kept thinking we would receive something on the third.

Now, we can't initiate a migration because if we log into Webmail with the unmigrated email it redirects us to a Verizon Wireless-specific portal because its marked our verizon account as migrated to Frontier as part of that FIOS purchase.  Each time I go to the Webmail page, it asks for login, then redirects me to the My Verizon for our wireless service.  I cannot get to any webmail page because of the redirect.

So can't access the email account from the web site, but continues to send/receive email on my phone.  I figure that's going away soon but would have liked the option to migrate to AOL.

You are attempting the login to the Verizon mail using your unmigrated email id.  Try going directly to http://mail.verizon.com .

If you are Frontier then the email migration was to AOL.  So for most services logon to frontier, but email logon to http://mail.aol.com.

Regretably they sent out notices to the Frontier customers with a final date by which you needed to complete the email migration.  If you didn't migrate your email account might have been deleted.
