Importing a CSV File

Has anyone out there had success in importing a CSV file that was created by MSOutlook? I have not been able to import my contacts into Verizon web mail, making it totally unusable. If you had success, please tell me how you did it. I tried the old web mail platform and the new webmail platform, and I tried it on 32 bit WIndows 7 and 64 bit Windows 7. None of these combos worked.

What error are you getting? I've been able to import contacts that were exported from Outlook. (Not sure what version, was only doing so to test the feature.)

Also, what fields are you exporting into your file?

I'm having the same problem. Exported contacts to CSV file as instructed, but, when I try to import it into Webmail, I receive the error message " Session has expired. Try closing this window and importing the file from within Webmail".  Well this is ridiculous, because when I close the window and try to import the file from within Webmail, the same window opens.  After going through this loop about a dozen times a day for 3 days, I finally gave up.  Felt like I was on a snipe hunt!!!

Has anyone managed to do this successfully.  I cannot believe this is so difficult.

I have never gotten this to work from WLM or Outlook.

Even the instructions are incorrect:

a. Click on the Contacts icon on the top left panel.
b. Then Click on More... on the Contacts Toolbar

There is no contact icon in the upper left of my screen.

And I never see a More on the contacts toolbar.

Despite those flaws, I get the import to start but always get the error message quoted by DMT.

Obviously this is a bug they can't fix. And they can't even update the instructions.

what browser are you guys using?  I know a lot of their site is touch and go if you're using firefox or something other than IE

IE8 with current updates. Same problem using Firefox 3.6.10.   Immediate "Session has expired" error.

I notice that if I set the pc clock an hour ahead I get another delayed java error from Apache Tomcat. See the attachment. I tried that because I read somewhere that "session expired" messages sometimes indicate  system clock differences (?).
