Incoming server no longer recognizes my username. What to do? (Thunderbird client.)

Migrated to mail.aol.com last year.  Everything worked fine until last week. Now the incoming Verizon server does not recognize my user name!  I am wondering if the alias no longer works.  What to do?  I can still log in to AOL directly, but no through Thunderbird.

I was migrated to AOL just before Verizon sold its Verizon assets to Frontier.  Two years ago?  I use Thunderbird for email on my PC.  So it works.

Check your url, port, and SSL.  Id should include @verizon.net.  Recently they were changing servers around and a few were not working correctly.
