Smiley Mad This new email setup totally sucks!!! I want my old Email back!!! Is there any way to do this? If not there should be. It should be an option!!!!

As I understand, they are slowly switching everyone over to the new E mail and then the old or Classic view will go bye bye!

I wishthey would keep them both and give everyone a choice!

I agree with you. The new setup is not user friendly.I get to view 10-12 e-mails at the most.And no matter what you do, you'll never see the whole e-mail you click on. This is a tremendous error in judgement on the part of Verizon.Many other e-mails are more convenient to use.

Totally agree, the new format does not allow me to open most any attachment and it does not provide the option of locating mail by topic or sender that was available of the old website.  Once more, there are the occassional time out issues which occur immediately and times when it refuses to let me log on from internet explorer (better shot logging on with firefox or google chrome).  It is a real mess and may have to forgo this address for gmail or some such because I am wasting far too much time trying to view my mail.

We went with Verizon DSL because of the email options. Now we are looking at other servers. Apparently Verizon has stopped listening to customers. When we move our account we'll move everything- cells, landlines, internet. Would rather stay but I REFUSE to use the new interface. I didn't ask for it, I didn't get a choice about using it, I won't use it. Lots of other options.

Gmail is having a problem now as they just made some changes to their email. You can't forward pi ctures from gmail--they end up as empty boxes with red xs.

I HATE the new email so much, I'm thinking I'm going to change it to Yahoo or something. I can't believe Verizon thinks this is better & is forcing it down our throats. So much for customer service. You can't open a full pane to see the email, & more than half the time the email doesn't come up- I have to hit the reply button & scroll down to read it in what would be my reply email. Extremely unsatisfied customer here, who left Comcast because of stuff like this.

They put in a layout option, they just neglected to tell anyone about it.  

Go into options and select the preview format.  The problems with that are you no longer can see a 'full view' from the preview pane and there seems to be no way to get rid of the idiotic ad banner now (I'm a paying customer, ffs, why are there ads on my page??).  

If you want to see full page emails, select the list layout, then when you click on an email, you'll get it full page in a new tab.

Also, the 'refresh button' to check new mail seems to be invisible, but if you hover your cursor over the right end of the emails bar at the top of the folders list, you'll see 'refresh' in a hover tip and the functionality is still there.

You are so right! My email switched over on its own last night and I spent several hours trying to get back to the classic view with no success. The Support Center didn't send any help either. I called tonight and  they could not switch it back. Now the same message of the impendng doom ( I mean switch) popped up on my sub accounts. The set up is awful. The area for reading your email isn't large enough. Isn' t scrolling to see a complete graphic just a treat?!  At these ratesnI;ll be looking for a new provider as soon as possible if they can not set it up for me to switch it back.
