Received a message from Verizon saying that MSN will not be carried with my DSL account. How do I continue? Go to Comcast?

That's a good question. I find the e-mail not very friendly, next to msn.

in laymans terms... if you want to continue using the  MSN that you were getting access to for FREE with VERIZON.... you will now have to PAY MSN for access to it

if you do not, then the pretty butterfly and such will be gone... and your MSN accounts will now be just like everyone else FREE hotmail accounts....  and you will have to use the REAL INTERNET, as oppose to the MSN crutch, you have been using

We know the message is clear.  The question in my mind is why is MSNand/or Verizon "disconnecting" and causing this disruption?  Or is it all about the money - as usual.  I think maybe I need to "disconnect" from both.

Microsoft has been phasing out MSN for a LONG time.... the contract they had with Verizon is up, I am sure... and likely, neither wanted to renew...

I am sure money has something to do with it.....

It is your choice as a consumer to go with another provider....  but personally, verizon internet is the shiz

best o luck with your decision
