the email was pretty self explanatory....
|Important Changes to Your Verizon with MSN Premium and Email|
|Dear Verizon with MSN Premium Member,|
We are writing to let you know that Verizon with MSN Premium and associated features are being discontinued in your area on March 27, 2010. We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause, but it will allow us to bring you exciting new features to enhance your Verizon online experience in the upcoming months.
Thank you for choosing Verizon. Your business is important to us.
in laymans terms... if you want to continue using the MSN that you were getting access to for FREE with VERIZON.... you will now have to PAY MSN for access to it
if you do not, then the pretty butterfly and such will be gone... and your MSN accounts will now be just like everyone else FREE hotmail accounts.... and you will have to use the REAL INTERNET, as oppose to the MSN crutch, you have been using
We know the message is clear. The question in my mind is why is MSNand/or Verizon "disconnecting" and causing this disruption? Or is it all about the money - as usual. I think maybe I need to "disconnect" from both.
Microsoft has been phasing out MSN for a LONG time.... the contract they had with Verizon is up, I am sure... and likely, neither wanted to renew...
I am sure money has something to do with it.....
It is your choice as a consumer to go with another provider.... but personally, verizon internet is the shiz
best o luck with your decision
