I've seen this with email before.  Usually caused by a PC, email client,  or browser glitch and not an issue with your Verizon Email account.

Start by using a different method of checking your email.  If using IE, try Opera, Firefox, Safari or other browser.

If using an email client,  try a different one.  For example,  outlook, outlook express,  thunderbird, windows mail, apple mail.......

And, make sure you have the required plugins for your browser.  Keep your flash, java, shockwave, players(media players like quicktime....) all up to date.

I'm having the same problem.  I've tried different browsers, with no luck.  Any other ideas?
