I was provided an AT&T Blackberry 8520 from work and connect to my personal verizon.net mail account.  I have FIOS Internet for my service at home.

 

Mail in my inbox is registering on my phone in the message counter, but there is no message in my Blackberry inbox.  After checking my messages on line, these are always SPAM or junk mail.  Valid emails are pushed to the handheld, so I am not losing messages.

 

Has anyone else had a problem with the unread message counter, not matching the mailbox contents?  If I pull the battery and restart, the erroneous counter is fine.  Can't reboot twicea day forever.
