New email won't return to home page

The New email has a clickable text for returning to  "Verizon Yahoo" in the upper right hand corner.  Just like the old email did.

But it doesn't work in the new email. It did work in the old email.

Here's what I expect:  to leave email, and return to the "Verizon Yahoo" home page in the context of the same browser window.

Here's what I get instead:  It leaves the window looking at the email.  It open a new browser window.  It sets this new window to "Verizion Yahoo".  That's just about worthless.

Here's my workaround:  Use the browser's "back arrow" function to get back to my home page.

I'd like to see this fixed.  Sure, I can live with the wrokaround.  But I shouldn't have to.
