XP Pro Office 2007. Using Outlook, get a downloaded email and, 30 minutes later, get the same email download again. Not to every email, just some(?!?). Get 30-40 downloaded emails FROM LAST DECEMBER to a specific email account. Delete them, (server directed to delete all deleted emails) AND, GET THE SAME 30-40 EMAILS AGAIN. Happened 3 times so far, eagerly anticipating another arrival.
Suggested to tech this just "might" be a server issue. Talking to a blank slate.
Just a guess here. Do you have or have had any email forwarding services to multiple accounts since December? I could see how they might get stuck in a loop if you are forwarding them from service A to B and also from B to A. Just a wild guess.
