I select the email and then click spam.  That sends it to the spam filter, but does it ensure that it catches the email as spam the next time?  I am not sure this is working.  I keep getting the same spam emails.  Seems like it should be catching these by now.  Can you see if this is working properly. I am tired  of the same spam messages.
