TrueSwitch.com/verizon does not work.

I switched from Bright House (rr.com) residential service to Verizon residential service last Thursday, I changed all my emails over to verizon via TrueSwitch.com/verizon.  This week Wednesday Bright House (rr.com) came out and completed the disconnect.  The next day I did not receive any emails.  My email service have not worked since.  What could be the problem?

sounds like brighthouse shut off your emails.  if your emails are turned off or deleted and no longer exist or exist but messages are getting reject because they turned you off, then that would prevent true switch from working.

Forward your emails.  TrueSwitch will check your old Internet account at your old ISP and forward any new emails to your new Internet account for a period of 30 days. This feature will only work while both your old and new Internet accounts remain active and provided that you do not change the password to your old account after initiating a request for email forwarding.  If you prefer not to use this feature, please select the "Custom Switching" option when using the Software.

I cancelled my Brighthouse Roadrunner account about 3 months ago. And  I am still receiving emails on that account. I use Windows Live Mail, Don't know if they forgot to turn my account off or if they are just letting it slide for a while. Try sending an email to the old rr account and see if you get a bounceback message. If not, it may still be on. As said above, maybe Trueswitch is hanging up on the non-functional account (?).
