My wife’s laptop runs Windows 10 with Outlook to access Verizon email. She has had an ongoing problem with the login window appearing and requesting her password even though her password is correct and hasn’t changed in ages. Recently, it got so bad that she couldn’t access her emails and had to set up a gmail account as a backup. I have had intermittently the same problem on my PC, but at a much less severe level (the login window goes away and email resumes working). Someone posted on this forum that “this kind of thing happens when one of the servers responsible for login is not responding in a reasonable time.” Does anyone know how to resolve this problem: for example, by changing a parameter either at the Verizon account level or at the communications card level?
