All day "Sorry" e-mail outage message 5/8/17 ?????

I have not yet  been notified that it is my turn to migrate to AOL or other.

Verizon e-mail has been down all day, is it my problem or are others experiencing the same.

Help - just a 70+year old lady with limited investigation experience and not technical.

E mail back up as of 5pm eastern in West seneca ny (outside buffalo)

Im guessing everyones e-mail is now working correctly?

I dont know about everyone else but I would like to know why it happened? Will it happen again? Is it something to do with the migration to AOL servers etc..........................?

Anyone?????????

Working fine on windows through browser.  Not on iPhone with same account/password.
