Verizon to aol outlook questions.

I followed the procedure and it works fine except in outlook aol creates a new data file and the button to change folders for the new aol account is  missing.  Is this because IMAP creates different folders than a pop accountfolder?  It is possible to choose the data file you want to use?

Second  it created a file called SpamDetector.  Where are the settings for that and why is it diffwerent from the junk folder?
