What just happened with my email settings?

Whenever I have composed an email in the past, I would always be able to change the font size to make the print larger.  The options for that would be right there on the screen.

Now it's not there anymore.  Is there a way I can pull it back up again and if so, how do I do it?

I am only able to change the default settings which doesn't seem to do anything for the font size.

Without knowing your browser and/or OS I would guess if you run Internet explorer it could be the recent update to version 11, try running this site in compatibility mode

I'm using Internet Explorer 10 and my operating system is Windows 7.

I just tried what you suggested and it didn't work.

I just tried getting into email with Firefox and the font menu comes up on that browser.

This is confusing and annoying.

update - I just upgraded IE to version 11 and it's still the same issue.

I also keep getting this annoying "jollywallet" pop up add on top of the screen and I can't get rid of it.

Thank you Jose!  I figured it out.  I've done so much troubleshooting over the years with similar issues that I was finally able to resolve the problem.   I just cleared out all this malware and these remnants and got rid of these add ons and extensions from "jolly wallet" and "better surf" from all of my browsers.  I also ran a virus scan with 2 programs to make sure all of this junk was cleaned out.  I found information on line indicating that this "Jolly Wallet" program is extremely invasive of people's privacy and is known to be very unethical in the way it obtains more revenue.  It looked and sounded suspicious and now it doesn't come up on top of the Verizion home page on my IE screen anymore.  It was probably corrupting my files and disabling some of my email settings, in addition to not having the updated IE browser.

After doing that, I still had the same email issue but then I clicked on "compatability view" and now all of my email functions have been restored.

Glad to here that, I troubleshoot computers part time and have seen as many as 10 tool bars in internet explorer. Thanks for the details, that may help  someone (probably me) in the future!

I can believe that.  Toolbars and add-ons from adware can be pretty annoying and nasty and they're not easiest to avoid.  I'm sure what I posted here can very well help someone in the future.  I remembered the troubleshooting process that a Microsoft agent walked me through via remote access when I had a similar issue not long ago.  I also had found instructions on line on how to get rid of this "jolly wallet" from all the browsers.

I'm familiar with how quickly some computer issues can get complicated but at least one good thing from this is that repetition is always a good teacher.
