Last weekend parts of Verizon's site was shut down. Email was accessible but that was it, at least for me. Now I can hardly get in to my Verizon webmail. I am either timed-out or the page won't load. General internet seems to work fine. If Verizon spent as much money on their support/troubleshooting as they do on advertising FIOS could be a good thing. They need to get the kinks worked out very soon. I just might have to become Comcastic. Anyone know what is going on?

it's an april fools prank....
instead of switching providers... why not just use a free and reliable email provider, such as hotmail or gmail or yahoo, etc....

I have been with Verizon through dial-up, DSL and now FIOS. Have never had a problem until this week. I'm not going to jump ship unless this continues on for an unreasonable amount of time. I do have a Yahoo email account that is used when I don't want my main address revealed. Whatever Verizon did this last weekend seems to have impacted a huge customer base. Hopefully they are furiously working on this glitch. I am sure they want it fixed as fast as we do so as not to lose customers. I guess this is what we get when we become spoiled and addicted to computers and electronic devises. Let's just hope that it is a minor hiccup.
