I made the changes to my Apple account and now I can not send mail from it. I get messages saying it can not connect to server. I don't know what to do. Can anyone who has a mac help me out with this?

The main additional step is you have to do is a complete shutdown and boot of the system to get some of the services to pick up the changes.
