dumping e mails

Why are my e-mails that I don't save immediately being deleted by you within a couple of days.  For the past several years, the e-mails have remained until I deleted them.  What's going on?

Thank you,

Mary

HI Mary are you saying  emails are deleted from inbox, sent or trash?

1. This is a peer-to-peer support forum. If you want to get a message to Verizon, you should contact them directly via one of the options on their Contact Us page.

2. Any time mail disappears from the server, there's a pretty good chance there's some device pulling it off. This can happen even without you intending it to. For example, the default Verizon setup for a long time (and possibly still) configured Outlook automatically unless you were paying attention and unchecked the box during the install.

The easiest way to fix it is to change your password. Once the device(s) can no longer authenticate, the disappearances should stop.
