Is this the e-mail address tied to the master account for the Verizon service? If it is you'll need to contact Tech Support I believe to have that done most likely. Otherwise, if it is a sub-account you can delete the sub-account and make another one under a different name.
If you're having spam issues with the e-mail addresses, changing the address is temporary as generally the robots that be will find the new address as being active. Spam can be managed!
