Why is it that my emails continually show up on my smartphone and ipad even after I have read them on the computer and marked them read or delete them from the smartphone/ipad. Sometimes the newer emails show up again and othertimes ones that were read a month or two before show up. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
If you only want your messages to show up on one device, set all of your devices to delete the messages from the server after downloading them. Since Verizon does not allow IMAP access, there's no real way to keep everything perfectly synced up.
