emails deleted....gone, cant find them where did they go

i went to check our e mail and everything was gone. i am trying to figure out what happened

do you ever ever EVER use windows mail, outlook or outlook express at home or at a friend or work place?  

if you do, then it's possible that the program snagged your mail, and your mail is sitting safely on that machine.

there is an option when using those mail programs for it to not snag all your email but to leave a copy of the message on the server, and if you select that - then it won't happen again.
