"compose" and "refresh" sent items not available when using webmail

Suddenly when I log in remotely I cannot view folders such as "sent items" (all I can view is inbox) and buttons such as "refresh" and "compose" are not visible. Their is an arrow tab on the left that looks like it would expand something but my cursor will not select it. Can't find anything in settings to fix it. DId I change something or is Verizon having a problem?

I am able to view the left column just fine using Chrome on Windows 7. What browser/operating system are you guys having trouble in?
