i need instructions on how to create filters in my email

From your inbox, look for My Settings. Click on Mail below that. Click on the Filters tab. To create a new filter, click the Add New Filter button.

You can set up filters based on a wide variety of criteria:

IF:

[From / Subject / To / CC / To or CC]

[contains / doesn't contain / matches / doesn't match]

____________________________ (blank input field)

THEN:

Send notification to: ____________

-OR-

Move to folder: [folder list]

-OR-

Delete e-mail message

Please let me know if you still need help. What kind of a filter are you wanting to create?

What kind of things can you put into the  (blank input field)?

I started with one name that matched the incoming email address, and then discovered that I could put in multiple names, separated by commas.

Are there anyother secrets that verizon support isn't telling us? Wildcards or regular expressions?

I looked for support documents on how to make email filters, but most ot the search results gave me "404 page not found". Any suggestions would be appreciated.
