does anyone know if will be able to access my migrated verizon email on the AOL gold desktop (the found yet another way to charge us more!)?

You could just be nice and answer the question!  The FAQ's does NOT respond to this question!  It's basically just an add to PAY for a new service!

I personally do not use AOL Gold
