It is important to establish your business credit history separate from your personal credit. Small Businesses don't realize this until they apply for a loan of some sort and realize they don't have any credit history for their business. Establishing your utilties accounts, bank accounts, land line, cell phone, etc... as business accounts can help establish yourself as a business. Set up business accounts whereever you purchase office or business supplies (even big box club stores). You'll need to go through the appropriate Small Business Channel of the given business (bank, phone company, etc...) to make sure you are in their "Business" Channel, not consumer channel. Any kind of commercial credit lease can also add credit history. Lastly, make sure you use the same business name, contact information etc...everytime you try to establish credit. This will help guide your small business "transactions" to your credit history.
