2 computers, same router, one cant connect to internet

Hey everybody,

I am having issues with my M1424WR router and 2 windows machine going into that router. When both computers are connected to the router via LAN connection, only one is getting access to the internet. Both computers are able to connect to each other over the network, but  only one of the two can actually get access to the internet. Does this require some specific router configuration? (some kind of varying ip addresses?)

Anyway, ive tried troubleshooting every possible method, so i've given up and came here.

Help would be very very very appreciated.

Thanks,

R

1. go to Start then Run

2. type in cmd then enter

3. type in ipconfig /all at both computer

4. post back here so we can see what is going on

Is the problem specific to one of the pc's or does it alternate between the two?

And i'm just gonna throw this out there cuase we need more info to really troubleshoot, but try truning off the IPv6 on both the affected pc. I have seen some cases where running both v4 and v6 on the same NIC have caused connection issues.

It started on the IBUYPOWER, then i restarted it, and then RYAN-PC lost its connection to the internet. And so far ive even restarted RYAN-PC and it still remains.

Just tried disabling IPv6. It would show as connected but then just time out a few seconds later.
