Any benefit in updating to the Actiontec GigE?

Currently have the original 424WR Rev E from the FIOS install years ago.

My Internet speed is 25/25.

Current router is located on the second floor and Speedtest shows 24mbps download and 17mbps upload wireless to my laptop located on the first floor which I find very decent.

On occasion I have some lag issues streaming a movie wirelessly from my laptop to the TV.

TIA for any opinions.

It has higher speed Wireless, an gigabit ports.  These do help for intranet (in house) access between devices.  THe wireless on the older models may not even get close to your internet speeds.
