Hi
I am moving to a location which doesnt have FIOS. I anticipated that I would be moving around this time and I had checked the same with an agent who mentioned that there would be no early termination fee if the new location doesn't have FIOS
I ordered FIOS only after she confirmed this
Now when I am moving , I spoke to the agents and they are asking for an early termination fee
To be honest I love FIOS service and would definitely want to continue or join back once FIOS is setup at my new address
But it certainly isn't may fault if the service isn't setup there and all I am being forced into is $ 142 termination fee or 60 $ a month crappy DSL connection from Verizon along with 60 $ setup fee
Yeah FIOS , you just turned me from a loyal happy customer and a FIOS promoter to a disgruntled , unhappy customer who would be asking all friends to stop using Verizon

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
