Verizon has a offer at $69.99 with whole home wifi included, a router and an extender both free. Seem a good deal and better than my existing $59.99 plan with 100% speed improvement. I choose the new plan and every upgrade step is easy with a final quote of $69.99 for monthly charge.
However, not that surprising as it happened many times before, the confirmation email arrived with a higher monthly charge of $84.99 = $69.99 + $15 router rental. Where does the rental comes from as it is already included in the whole $69.99 package?
Immediately contacted the live agent and was told to wait for another confirmation email?!?! How ridiculous it is. If no one corrected the error, nothing will happen.
Will file a complaint to FCC as this happened so many times to me in the past years and only in this way Verizon FiOS mistake will be counted.
