My Fios app notified me of an unidentified new device on my network. I elected to block internet access in the app until I could figure out what it was. When I logged into my G3100 the device access was not blocked at selected in the app.
So does managing devices in the app actually do anything because obviously it did not in this case?

How do you tell that the device is not blocked?
As I stated, blocked in the app but the G3100 web interface showed otherwise and this was hours apart.
