Brother Wireless Printer Actiontec Connection Solution

The problem we know is with the router, but the instructions for the solution in Brother's procedure cures the issue, but sets you back to square one.

Brother will have you to do this after failure.
- Reset Router. Unplug for 15-30 seconds.
- Reset Network Settings on the Printer.
- Run Wizard.

The problem is after resetting the router we actually allow the connection to be established. / 8
But following directions we go and reset the printer network settings which kicks the printer off because it turns off the wlan.

What you should do is log into your router after the reset and see if you see the wireless brother printer.  BR.......

Actiontec for whatever reason will allow the connection AFTER it is reset, but NOT IF YOU RESET THE PRINTER NETWORK.  Because doing so kicks you off. And you will be back at square one.

I hope this helps someone.  I can now enjoy my color laser printer.  Brother Support was good with helping  out.
Hopefully with this knowledge from support they will update their resolution to check for printer connectivity immediately AFTER resetting the router BEFORE doing anything else.
