i can't find a verizon page to make my home page. you know, the simple news weather sports science entertainment type page. is there one ? because if i type in verizon central, it brings me to a bunch of useless questions about searching ect. and not an actual verizon page. i will drop the service if it keeps annoying me. i don't want to choose msn yahoo or something else when i paying my food or fuel money for a service. can anyone help me here?? if so, thanks very much.

Click on My Verizon at the top of the page.  Then Email & News.     There is a "Make this my Homepage button" at the top left.

From there you can navigate to most of the things in your wish list.  It may not be exactly what you want, but it is the closest you will find on Verizon.

FWIW my preference is to use a blank page or search page (such as Bing) for my home page.  It loads fast and I can then go anywhere I want with a simple mouse click

Here's the URL for quick access: http://entertainment.verizon.com/ . The "Make this your homepage" link is towards the top of the page.

If this isn't suiting you, please consider using one of the many other web portals out there despite your wishes. You don't have to choose ISPs based upon who provides the best web portal. After all, anyone on any ISP can practically go to any web portal and view the same ad-funded content. What really matters is the quality of bandwidth and customer service (support) provided. But whatever works best for you 🙂
