The problem is back.  I was told that Verizon is working on it.  For anyone having the samr problem i.e.  you can not access Verizon websites but all other sites are fine, I have found a "work around"  I am able to access the Verizon sites if I use In Private browsing.

out of curiosity, can you do this

Tools Internet Options

and then Settings (under the delete cookies menu) and then click view files

Do you have ANY files in there, and if you select all and then delete ALL - go ahead and close your browser, and re-open it normally, and let the forum here know if that helps.

I had to do this for my sister who had the same trouble, she swore to me she deleted it, I went in and deleted it the traditional way with the checkmarks, it did not work.  Then I hit View Files and found some that did not get deleted.  Once I deleted those, it worked well.

If someone from Verizon would pass the access to the Verizon pages by InPrivate Browsing on to the software people, maybe the problem could  be solved. However, many Verizon customers use another homepage and email provider as Verizon keeps having problems!!!!!!

If they do get it fixed, let's hope they don't make any "new improvemenst" to either their homepage or email page.

I wonder how long I will have until this problem reappears on my computer?

Hubrisnxs ^^^ I did this  about 1 month ago and it did fix an ongoing issue I had with the aforementioned site(s). I also cleared my stored password for the site and reloaded win 7 home and I have been good since then.

Spoiler

Just out of curiosity I start at myverison, after login (no stored password) then navigate  to the forums, and I am effectively logged out. Once in the forums I need to bring up a reply dialog to autologin.

Is that how it works for others??
