Hi,
I can't get wireless working on my verizon fios.
Everything is setup on my computer, but on a secondary, It won't work!
The Verizon tech guy said it has "built in wireless" but I can't access it.
I'm using a Verizon Router. On my secondary, I am logging into my SSID using a Linksys Wireless Adapter (i don't know if that's how I access it)
so my question is - how am I supposed to access the wireless? It connects, but I can't browse the web.

What operating system are you running/ I know for a while people with Vista were having issues maintaining a connection.
The solution was to open the Network Connection and Sharing Center and set the connection to private. Using the customize link for the connection.
Remember if this is a laptop or system that will be used in a public setting, you should change the setting back to pubic before leaving your home.
I guess that you are connecting to your SSID using the WEP key as the password? It can be found on the sticker attached to the router. It could be that you were connecting to another open network?

I'm using Windows 7.
In my "Network and Sharing Center" I don't see a Customize anywhere, or a place to set connections to private.
I'm using WPA as security.
