Conncecting peripherals wirelessly to my PC using the Verizon Actiontec Router and wireless USB hub?

I'm not sure if this is possible or not.  I want to access USB peripherals (scanner/printer) on a wireless (Belkin) USB four port adapter.   My computer  is already connected wirelessly to the router.  Can I set this up using the actiontec router which is already installed from Verizon?  How would this be done?

Not certian exactly what you are trying to accomplish.

First, you can NOT use the USB Port on the Actiontec to share out any USB Device.  The port is provided to allow USB Connectivity to a PC that does not have a Network Card.

Any sharing would need to be done by the PC with the USB Device attached to it.  You should be able to share out the Printer, but might have some issues with the Scanner.  There is nothing that needs to be set up on the actiontec to allow this.  For ease of use make sure that all of your PCs/Laptops are in the same Workgroup.

I was afraid what I was trying to do might be unclear.  Let me try to explain.  I want to eliminate the wires running between by USB devices and my home computer, so the devices can be located somehwere other than right next to the computer.  I have a wireless conncetion set up now between my Verizon router and PC.  Belkin makes a wireless USB hub with four ports, but it requires connection to a router.  So, what I'm trying to accomplish is to access my scanner and printer wirelessly.  Eventually, I might want to add another computer to the network which can also access these remote wireless devices.  I hope that I made myself a bit clearer.  And I hope I am correct on describing the Belkin wireless USB hub.

It sounds like you have something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QSN3O6/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-...

From the description the USB Devices connect to the HUB and then the HUB connects Wirelessly to your Router.

It sounds like the Belkin HUB Should connect to the Actiontec Router just like any other wireless device.  Note that the Actiontec Router is Wireless G and you may run into some speed limitations depending upon what type of USB Devices you are using.  The Belkin site references a Wireless N Router which is faster.  If you eventually need more wireless speed you can use a Wireless N Router in addition to your Actiontec.  I would try the Actiontec first and see how everything works out.

Keep in mind that USB Devices are not usually designed to be shared on a network so 2 computers would not be able to use the same device at the same time.  Also the device does not provide external power to the USB Devices, which some devices require.

Short and simple.   YES

I had been doing this for a long time with the Actiontec router and now I am doing it with a Netgear. YES multipe computers can connect to the devices at the same time.
