Currently I have a dlink router connected to my verizon router. I plug my slingbox (sends your tv channels over the internet to phones, computers ect.) into my dlink router and it works fine.
However, if i plus the slingbox directly into the verizon router, the computer is unable to connect to the slingbox. As soon as i plug it into the dlink router (which is plugged into the verizon router) it works fine. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? It has to be a setting on the verizon router , no?

How are you connecting the DLINK router into the VZ router? If you are taking the WAN (internet) port on the DLINK and plugging it into one of the LAN ports on the Actiontec router, this is probably causing your issue. The DLINK may have firewall enabled. Is the DLINK using the same IP address range as the actiontec?
