Is there any way to convert the IP Address Allocation of a device from Static to DHCP on the Actiontec router?

your router 'assigns' the internal IP address of the devices attached to it when your router is set to be a DHCP Server, and your attached devices are set to be DHCP clients, and the attached devices are not set to use static IP addresses and do not have static IP addresses already put in them.     BUT you do not set the devices attached to the router to be DHCP clients -on the router;  you do it on the devices.
