Just tried it several times
It is truly not worth installing. Various versions of it have had problems, such as running a cpu up to 100% when it loses communication, even if you are not having a problem. Perhaps what you are experiencing.
It does so little for you that cannot be done without downloading it. Many of its services can be done by running the web version.
Personal recommendation uninstall it, and double check for other Verizon pieces that are installed, but not uninstalled automatically when you just uninstal IHA.
I'm running VZ IHA VER 9.0.55
Don't have any problems with it.
My Point is to alert SOMEONE at VZ of the situation for those who are trying to install it.
If you go to verizon.com/inhomeagent which is what their site suggest DO YOU GET STUCK IN AN ENDLESS LOOP ?
