Anyone noticing e-mail issues in the suburban Phila, PA area?
On Apple's Mail app, it tells me port 110 timed out.
Verizon e-mail web page won't load.

Actually, as of this post there is an issue with VERIZON.NET.
You can still access your email at http://webmail.verizon.net
It should be resolved soon.
EDITED CAUSE I HAD .COM ... my bad was typing fast.

If there is a known problem with verizon.net, why not post it to the system status section of verizon central? Isn't that what the System Status is for?

Hey Verizon, get your act together and notify the masses there is a current issue with the email servers.
May need to resume using GMAIL.

Thanks spacedebris,
Finally I have some status and realize why the System Status page has no mention of the email problem. It is kind of mind boggling that there is no current System Status available for this issue - even if they have to update their backup server??? Good to know it's not me, it's V.
I *was* able to read email through the online app, although I now wonder if all email is showing on their server...

Are you sure? That web page does not work for me. Perhaps you meant the .net domain instead of the .com domain.
This .com/.net confusion is really frustrating. Since it is confusing for you too at least I don't feel so bad.

I've been having a problem for a couple of days now. I'm only able to access my mail about 50% of the time via http://verizon.net. Problems I understand & can deal with. Not having any mention of this in the System Status is mind-boggling and frustrating. Email is critical to people -- several days of no-to-shoddy service and no mention of it on their site is unprofessional and unacceptable.
