I changed my FB settings from "secure browsing" to unsecure. The connection did speed up at first; however, the longer I'm on, the slower it gets..
It's now reverted back to taking anywhere from to 3-10 minutes to load each page.... 😞

any change in the speed of the loading when you go unsecured is probably just because you don't have as much overhead as you do with the SSL connection.
There is still something very wrong with the route

Naturally using HTTPS would have some latency in page delivery. It takes time to encrypt everything and deliver it over "In the Clear."

Everything on my connection has been much faster lately at all hours of the day, including Facebook. Thanks, whoever fixed the problem.

FB is excruciatingly slow this evening on Fios in Tampa. It takes 2-5 minutes per page.
