Verizon continues to be 'out featured' by Cox, Comcast, etc. ... They all have more features on the DVRs, i.e. 4-5 tuners vice Verizon's 2. Verizon's email spam filtering is a joke. Not sure what the others offer. I'm now seeing much higher internet speed advertised as well. When is Verizon going to catch up???????

The only thing the others are really ahead on is the DVR. Verizon has a new Verizon Media Server that was delayed a long time but should start being seen soon with 6 (some say 12, but nothing available show more than 6) tuners. http://newscenter.verizon.com/residential/news-articles/2013/01-verizon-motorola-fios-tv-media-serve...
This server would also do a lot of new things.

That's because Verizon was held up in court over it by the fcc for such a long time. Courts arent exactly fast.

Like that other guy said - we've been hearing your sad story about coming DVRs forever. Imagine you'll want us to buy the new one like you're trying to get us to buy the better router?????

They are actual in use now, but at the moment only by Verizon employees, etc in a Beta test. They really are expected to start being seen by customers soon.
