I lost my fios internet connection last night. I rebooted the ONT box and my VZ router several times. I even reset the router but still no luck. VZ customer service couldn't reach my ONT from their end so they are sending someone onsite. Anyone experience this? I had their service for over 5 years and this is the first time I had this issue. Can the OMT box go bad? Worst part is that due to VZ strike they can't send someone until the 19th. My TV and phone work over the net. Any suggestion?

If they can't reach it and you are sure the Ont appears ready, nothing you can do but wait for them to show up.

I am on the same boat, I tried resetting my ONT multiple times to no avail. The ethernet input will light up for a second and go dim. Tomorrow, they are supposed to come out, they no-showed the first 2 times due to the strike(no phone call/email or text letting me know). I am extremely upset.
